About MeHi. I'm Lyn Thiele. If you hear someone talking about a person who loves the Bible, who often talks about Jesus and enjoys playing the piano, reading biographies and making quilts, has a beloved husband, five children, and another one in heaven, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one cat, they’re probably talking about me.
What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven – and the future starts now! God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you’ll have it all – life healed and whole. Peter the Apostle (The Message Bible)

It was family history research that brought me to this topic of addiction. Once I’d found my husband’s grandparents, my perfectionist nature and desire for completion spurred me on to know more about their family. It was like paying them … Continue reading →
Have you ever played Othello? Not Shakespeare’s character, but the board game for two players. The other evening I brought it out to show our grandson who’d never seen it before. I explained the aim of the game and how to begin … Continue reading →
