About MeHi. I'm Lyn Thiele. If you hear someone talking about a person who loves the Bible, who often talks about Jesus and enjoys playing the piano, reading biographies and making quilts, has a beloved husband, five children, and another one in heaven, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one cat, they’re probably talking about me.
What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven – and the future starts now! God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you’ll have it all – life healed and whole. Peter the Apostle (The Message Bible)

A few weeks ago our church family received some wonderful news. We’d all watched a video clip of a past segment from the TV show, The Biggest Loser. A participant said that he believed he and his wife would one day have … Continue reading
Have you ever felt frustrated by some innovations on the internet? Especially those put in place by strangers who don’t know what you like? I once typed in the address for my first email after we’d changed servers and an … Continue reading
Things fail: machinery grinds to a halt, businesses go under, a river ceases to flow, ropes wear thin. People also fail, not coming up to expectations or reaching their full potential. Neither keeping on, nor producing; not living! With failure … Continue reading
